Packages start at €100 for an eBook (ePUB), €150 for print preparation, and €300 for the complete print-and-eBook bundle. Illustration starts at €10 per piece. Editing, translation and rights are quoted to scope. You always get a fixed quote within 24 hours — no hourly billing, no hidden costs.

The eBook package delivers a validated, reflowable ePUB 3 with a Kindle-compatible export. The Print package delivers a press-ready interior PDF/X and a full cover wrap built to your printer’s spec. The Complete package combines print and eBook from one source, plus an original cover, on one timeline — and costs less than buying each piece separately.

Illustration starts at €10 per piece and scales with complexity, level of detail, size and quantity. A spot illustration sits near the low end; a detailed full-page colour piece is more. A series — like a children’s book or a set of chapter headers — is quoted together, and volume brings the per-piece price down.

We accept PayPal, Visa and Mastercard. Payments are handled by a secure third-party payment provider — we never store your card or bank details. Prices are quoted in euros (EUR).

If you cancel before we begin production, you receive a full refund of anything paid, less any payment-processing fee. Once work has started, refunds reflect the work completed. Full details are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of our Terms.

No. The quote you approve is the price you pay, with two revision rounds included. Optional extras — like ISBN setup, extra revision rounds or added scope — are always quoted and approved before any work happens.

Yes — editing and proofreading in literary English, by editors with 15+ years in literature and translation. There are four levels: developmental editing, line editing, copy editing and proofreading, priced by length (total character count) and level.

Developmental editing works on structure and the book as a whole; line editing improves how the prose reads, sentence by sentence; copy editing makes the text correct and consistent (grammar, spelling, style); proofreading is the final pass for typos before print. Many books benefit from more than one level, applied in that order.

Editing improves the writing itself — structure, clarity, flow and consistency — while proofreading is the final quality check for surface errors (typos, punctuation, spacing) once the text is otherwise final. Proofreading comes last; it is not a substitute for editing.

Yes. A manuscript critique is an honest, structured editorial read — strengths, weaknesses and what to do next — and it is the most affordable way to learn which level of editing your book actually needs before you invest in a full edit.

Yes. We write back-cover blurbs and store-description copy — the short, persuasive text that makes a browsing reader open the book. It is available with an edit or on its own.

We prepare the press-ready files that any printer can run, and for international orders we do not operate a press ourselves. That keeps you free to print wherever gives the best price and reach — Amazon KDP, IngramSpark or a local printer — with files built to that platform’s exact specification.

Yes — this is one of the most common things we do. We build the interior PDF and the cover wrap to Amazon KDP and IngramSpark published specifications (trim size, bleed, margins, spine width, embedded fonts) so the files pass their automated checks the first time. If a file we prepared is rejected on technical grounds, we correct it at no extra charge.

Print-on-demand (POD) prints one copy at a time with no upfront print run — ideal for most self-published titles and for keeping a book permanently available. Offset printing produces a set quantity at a lower per-copy cost once the run is large enough. Which wins depends on your expected sales and budget.

It depends on genre and goals: common trims include A5, 5×8 and 6×9 inches; paper is usually cream (70–80 gsm) for fiction and white for non-fiction and illustrated books. We advise on trim, paper weight, binding and cover finish, and our free Book specs guide covers every option in detail.

Bleed is the extra image area (usually 0.125") beyond the trim that prevents white edges after cutting. Spine width is the thickness of the book’s spine, calculated from page count and paper — use our free Spine Width Calculator. Gutter is the inner margin near the binding that keeps text from disappearing into the fold. We set all three correctly for your exact specs.

For print: a press-ready interior PDF/X and a full cover wrap. For digital: a validated, reflowable ePUB 3, with a Kindle-compatible export on request. For covers and illustration: print-ready files plus the open, editable source files (PSD / AI). You own and keep every deliverable.

Yes. Every ePUB is validated with EPUBCheck and tested on Kindle, Apple Books, Kobo, Nook, Google Play Books and 10+ readers. We include a Kindle-compatible export on request, plus a working table of contents, embedded metadata and a store-upload checklist.

A reflowable ePUB lets text resize and reflow to fit any screen and font size — right for novels and most non-fiction. A fixed-layout ePUB preserves an exact page design — right for children’s books, cookbooks, poetry and heavily illustrated titles. We build whichever your book needs.

Every cover is designed and drawn by hand in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator by a real designer, and you keep the open, editable source files. You receive the full print cover wrap (front, spine, back, set to your printer’s spec) and a separate eBook thumbnail optimised to read well at small sizes.

Yes — original book illustrations in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop: spot art, full-page pieces, children’s-book illustration, maps, diagrams and chapter headers. Illustration starts at €10 per piece, with series quoted together.

Yes to both. A children’s book is quoted as a set, with consistent characters and a consistent style across every page, plus a fixed-layout eBook and print files. Maps and diagrams are usually drawn in Illustrator so they stay crisp at any size.

Yes. On full payment you receive the editable source files for your cover and illustrations (PSD / AI), along with the print-ready exports. The work is yours to use for your book in print and digital form.

Yes. We can rebuild a cover to the correct spine width and bleed for your page count and printer, refresh an amateur or template cover, or design a new one from scratch. Send us the current files and your printer’s spec and we’ll quote it.

Yes. Native Serbian literary translators translate foreign authors’ books into Serbian — faithful to your voice, with a second-reviewer proofread — and we can produce the complete Serbian edition. Through it you reach readers across Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Croatia.

Yes. We represent Serbian authors and can reach virtually any author in the country, handling rights and sales data all the way to a finished edition. It is a separate, opt-in service with its own written agreement.

You need an ISBN to sell widely and to be catalogued by retailers and libraries. Some platforms (like KDP) offer a free ISBN tied to that platform; for wider distribution many authors use their own, from their national agency or a provider such as Bowker. We offer ISBN and barcode setup as an add-on and advise what is right for your plan.

Always. You retain full rights to your manuscript, text and finished book — production work transfers no ownership to us — and you keep the editable cover source files. Rights representation is a separate, opt-in service with its own agreement. We will also sign an NDA on request.

COBISS is the shared regional library and bibliographic information system used across the Balkans (Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Slovenia and more) — the catalogue that national libraries rely on. Many titles we have produced are registered in COBISS, which is a mark that a book is a real, catalogued edition.

The Design Club is a free directory and portfolio platform for book-cover designers and illustrators — from the Balkans and worldwide. Designers create a profile, upload their covers and illustrations, and get discovered by authors and publishers who can contact them directly. Membership is free and designers keep every commission.

Go to /design-club/join and create a free profile: your name, handle, country, the type of work you do, and your portfolio images (JPG or PNG). After you confirm your email and your profile is approved, it goes live in the public directory. There is no fee and no commission.

Each public profile has a contact form. Your message reaches the designer by email; their email and phone stay private until they choose to reply. Authors can filter the directory by country, type of work and availability to find the right fit.

We review every profile by hand and require email confirmation, to keep the club’s quality high and to protect authors from spam or low-quality submissions. Once approved and verified, a profile is public and indexable by search engines.

You can contact any designer directly through their profile. If you would rather we handle the whole book — cover, interior, eBook and print — our own team does that too, with a fixed quote and one point of contact.
